Admissions Criteria

APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY:

Students of any age and gender from all provinces of Pakistan, Islamabad, FATA, and foreign/dual national/overseas can apply for admission.
MDCAT 2022 and 2021 not applicable.
Rai Medical College does not offer BDS Currently.

FOR THE LOCAL SEAT:

A candidate must have passed F.Sc. (Pre-Medical)/HSSC or an equivalent examination from outside Pakistan with three subjects out of which Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics are mandatory subjects with 60% marks in aggregate as certified by IBCC in the above terms shall be accepted and the candidate shall be eligible for admission in the MBBS course with any study group whichever the IBCC may write. It shall be responsibility of the student to get equivalence certificates from IBCC, Islamabad for recognition of his/her qualification.
A student must have appeared in the Entrance Test (MDCAT) with passing marks (55% in MDCAT) according to PMDC/UHS admission policy.

A candidate, who does not hold a Pakistan nationality, having obtained his/her HSSC or equivalent 12^th grade qualification from outside Pakistan with three subjects out of which Biology, Chemistry and Physics or Mathematics are mandatory subjects with 60% marks in aggregate as certified by IBCC in the above terms shall be accepted and the candidate shall be eligible for admission in the MBBS course with any study group whichever the IBCC may write. It shall be the responsibility of the student to get equivalence certificates from IBCC, Islamabad for recognition of his/her qualification.
Applicant must have passed a foreign SAT II examination with minimum score of 550 in each subject or a foreign MCAT examinnation or UCAT examination with 50% marks in the subjects as prescribed in PMDC regulations.
