INTODUCTION:

Department of otorhinolaryngology which is known as E.N.T. department in layman’s terms, is headed by Associate professor Dr Sajid Rashid Nagra (MBBS, MCPS, FCPS). In department there is Dr Salman Aftab (MBBS, M.S.), senior registrar and medical officer. Department is looking after patients in Doctors trust teaching hospital and coaching 3^rd & 4^th year students of Rai medical college, Sargodha.Services for patients include outdoor clinic being run on daily basis, performing routine E.N.T. surgeries and dealing E.N.T. emergencies 24/7. Due to dependable, efficient and caring services, number of patients have increased in last two years.Medical teaching for undergraduate students include class lectures (with audio visual explanations), ward rotations, live demonstrations in operation theatre. In addition, students are in touch with teachers via whatsapp group and during vacations, online classes also being conducted. Hard work is being reflected in University of Health Sciences (UHS) results of professional examinations. Which are always 95% plus in subject of E.N.T. In 2019 exam, five students brought laurels for alma mater by getting distinctions which reflects high standards of education.
